At the end of the lesson,
1. Students
will be able to tell the words about circus.
2. Students
will be able to match the headings with the each paragraph.
3. Students
will be able to recognize the specific details about subject, and answer the
questions related to them.

READING LESSON
1. Pre-reading stage:
Teacher asks the students “What did you
do at this weekend?” She introduces a
text about circus. Then, she writes the word “circus” on the board, and
elicits the key language about it.
Teacher gives each student a photocopy
about someone who works in a circus.
She asks the
students to guess the name and her job of the woman in the text. Then,
students read the text, and match the headings with the paragraphs. She wants
the students to answer the questions about the text.
Teacher
asks the students if they would like to work in a circus. Why or why not?
Students give a reason about their responses.
