Steps:
Warm
up:
The teacher asks the students “What are the rules in the classroom
and what are the forbidden behaviours in the classroom?”. So that
the teacher creates a context in the lesson.
Introduction:
The
teacher tells the students that the topic is modals and then shows
the pictures include modals. Then teacher gives the structures by
writing the sentences under the pictures on the board.
Presentation:
The teacher starts to explain about at least 4 modals then, the
teacher gives examples from
the real life about at least 4 modals and also explains which modal
we use in which situation. The teacher mentions what the differences
are among these modals.
Activity
1: The
teacher hands in the worksheets to the students and also gives
instructions about what they will do. The teacher says that you have
5 minutes. The teacher checks their answers and gives feedback.
Activity
2:The
teacher has a box which the small papers written modals on them
inside.The students choose a paper in the box and create their own
sentences by choosing the modal.
Review:
The
teacher repeats the modals and the sentences on the board.
