·        Students will be able to  use some, any, a lot of , a few and a little in a sentence.

              
                         Speaking

·        Students will be able to tell some, any, a lot of , a few and a little.


Procedure

    
Pre-Activity

Speaking and brainstorming:(5 minutes)

The teacher greets the students with a friendly 'Hello!'... How are you today? Teacher smiles and give the class a positive atmosphere. The teacher asks ‘’What do you remember about some any, a lot of , a little and a few ‘’ Students say something in Turkish. The teacher reviews this topic again. The teacher gives informative sheet.
      
 



While-Activity

Fill in the blanks activity: (10 minutes)

The teacher gives worksheet to students. The teacher gives 5 minutes for this activity. After students finish this activity, the teacher chooses students by one by . Students read your full sentence and the teacher checks their pronunciation and answers.


        
 Post-Activity

Writing activity: (5 minutes)

Students write 3 sentences including some, any , a lot of , a little or a few . The teacher gives 3 minutes for this activity. After students finish this activity, students start to read one sentence one by one .    

Teacher roles:  the teacher facilitator, director, and controller.
Students roles: children are participator.

Pre-Activity

Speaking and brainstorming:(5 minutes)

Writing activity: (10 minutes)

The teacher gives worksheet to students. The teacher gives 5 minutes for this activity. After students finish this activity, the teacher writes clock’s the left side on the board. Students come to board and  write your answer. Before students write your answer, students read your answer and the teacher checks your pronunciation.


        
 Post-Activity

Pair work activity: (5 minutes)

Student writes a time on the paper. For example; 11.00. The other student writes ‘’It’s eleven o’clock.’’ This time the other student writes 9.15 and student writes your answer.
After students finish this activity, the teacher chooses pair randomly. Students read your paper .

Objectives
   At the end of the lesson, students will be able to;
- list 7 countries in Europe.
- distinguish 7 countries’ flags.
- express their own nationalities.
Pre stage (10 min.)

   The teacher starts the lesson by asking the countries and questions about countries. Also, to develop students’ pronunciation skills, repeats each word for a few time.

While stage (20 min.)
      
              The students prepare themselves cards by using foreign names and using the cards, they do role play activity. With the help of this activity, the teacher will provide the student-student interaction and makes them talk more.
Post stage (10 min.)

    The teacher gives worksheet to students and they try to find the countries’ names from the puzzle.

  At the end of the lesson, students will be able to;
- identify the games which they play in their daily lives.
- discuss their likes and dislikes

Pre stage (10 min.)

   The teacher starts the lesson by asking to students the games which they play in their daily lives. By using students’ answers, the teacher passes on to the topic. After the vocabulary stage, the teacher makes students’ repeat the structure which they’ve learned before. At the end of the process, the teacher teaches the new words by using powerpoint presentation.
While stage (20 min.)
      
              The teacher divides worksheet to students. When the students finished the activity, the teacher asks questions to make them talk more.
Post stage (10 min.)

    The post activity is a game. The teacher divides the class into 2 groups and for each turn, one of the students come to the board. The teacher gives him/her a word and s/he tries to explain the word by using his/her body language in 30 seconds.

OBJECTIVES/GOALS:
 At the end of the lesson;
1.  students will be able to compare features of things and people.
2.  students will be able to criticize appearance things and people.
3.  students will be able to use structure ( more than, most) as verbally and written.


 Pre activity:
 
  In the beginning of the lesson, teacher shows a picture about the movie of Angelina Jolie;


 - Teacher asks,
 " Do you remember the movie?" It is a fantastic movie
 " Do you know the actress?" (Angelina Jolie) I think she is the strongest woman actress
 "Is there any actress or actor who you like?
 - They discuss these questions and tell their ideas. Teacher writes the board actors and actress that  students says as well.


While activity:

  Teacher says, look at the activity A
- There are given features to define actors and actress , Students will complete the sentences with name of the actress and actor whoever they want, they can choose names from the board. In the end of the activity, teacher asks questions like " Who is the most handsome actor ?" , every student has a different idea so they discuss about their favorite actors.

   Teacher says now, look at the activity C there are sentences , read them.
" Is there any unknown words ? Teacher explains words with their synonyms and actions.
- OK there is a text below ,it is about the movie, Students read text and match paragraphs with the sentences above.



-Teacher asks,
  " Do you like the topic?"
- let tell me the answers now. They give answers and If they are wrong teacher tries to recalls correct answer by giving hints.

 - In the other activity, there are given features of characters from  the text. Students match names of the characters with given features. Then They share their answers with class.





Post activity:

  Teacher shows pictures of Kivanc Tatlitug and Kenan Imirzalioglu.
- Students will make questions with given adjectives such as ''Who is more successful? or Who is more intelligent?" and write their answers according to pictures .
- Finally, Teacher asks question one of the students and he or she answers then she asks question one of her friends then he asks the other one and goes on like that ...

 -Teacher  gives a chart each of them, that written adjectives. Students fill in the charts according to features of their classmates.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED        :  Computer, pictures ,hand out, smart board, cards, newspaper, scissors, glue.


OBJECTIVES/GOALS:
 At the end of the lesson;
1.  Students will be able to define their favorite city.
2.  Students will be able to criticize places and cultures.
3. Students listening and reading skills will be able to improve.

Stages of the Lesson:
Pre stage:
Teacher asks If you have a chance to go abroad where you want go?
Students say some places then teacher shows pictures of the best cities of the world. She says the best known features of the cities gives interesting knowledge as well.

While stage:
In this part students read the text at the same time they listen the recording and they fill in the blanks according the recording
Teacher gives students a reading text and starts recording as well. First listening, they only skim over the text. Second listening, they fill in the blanks.
In this activity,
Teacher divides class into four group, each group has 6 students. Teacher gives them a card with a name of a city on it. Teacher wants students to describe their card to the group members in 30 seconds , after each learner has done their task, the cards are passed around hand to hand until the teacher says stop. At that time, teacher walks between the desks and checks students conversations.
In this activity,
Teacher asks concept checking questions like
Where is the Eiffel tower?
Which city is attracting 12 million visitors in 2014?
Post stage:
In this activity,
Teacher brings the newspaper that has knowledge about the cities, coloured paper, scissors and glue. She want students to make a poster about their favorite city by cutting from newspaper. Finally, they present their poster to the class.
