students that now I will show you some pictures and you will tell me what do
you see in the pictures. Then the teacher starts to show the pictures one by
one and asks the students what do you see in the pictures. After the students
responded the questions, the teacher writes each word on the board one by one.
Then the teacher tells the students that now you will tell me where can you see
them. The teacher starts to show the pictures of the symbols and asks the
students where can you see them. As the students answer the teacher writes the
possible places of the symbols on the board. After the students answered, the
teacher continues with the main activity. By this way, the teacher prepares the
students for the main activity.

activity and you need to match the symbols to their meanings, you will work
individually, you have 5 minutes. While the students matching the symbols to
their meanings teacher walks around the class, monitors them and helps if they
need. After five minutes, the teacher asks the students are you finished if
they say yes the teacher checks the answers with them, if not the teacher gives
them 2 minutes extra time. After the teacher checked the answers with the
students, he tells them that there is listening text about a dialogue in a post
office and you will listen to it for three times. But first you will listen to
it to understand what it is about. Then the teacher asks the students are you
ready and if they say yes, he plays the tape. After the first listening, the
teacher tells the students that, now you will listen to it and you will try to complete
the questions in the dialogue. Then the teacher plays the tape. After the
students listened to the dialogue for the second time and completed the missing
parts, the teacher tells the students that now you will listen to it for the
last time to check your answers. The teacher plays the tape and pauses it at
some parts and checks the answers with the students. Later, the teacher tells

parcel is large or small, give reasons for your answers, you have 10 minutes.
