Objectives :

ü    Students will be able to make sentences using past progressive.

ü    Students will be able to talk about their own life experiences.

Procedure : 

1.      T greets the Sts.He talks about what they are going to do in this lesson. (10 mins.)

2.     Teacher talks about past progresive tense and writes the grammar points of past progressive tense on the board.He sticks a timeline on the board to make the subject more clear. (10 mins)

3.     The teacher explains the activity of the day.

Activity : Students make true sentences about what someone was doing when they saw that person, and the other students guess who it was, e.g. “He was pulling across two lanes of traffic” for a taxi driver or “She was writing something down in a notebook” for a traffic warden. (20 mins)
