Equipment Needed: Board marker, Flashcards, Identity cards, Puppet

OBJECTIVES/GOALS:

• Students will be able to understand simple personal information.

 • Students will be able to introduce themselves and other people.

• Students will be able to ask for and provide simple personal information.

  • Students will be able to develop an awareness of world flags, nationality.

PROCEDURE

Step 1: Teacher brings to the class two puppets one of them name is Jonathan the other is Bill and they have a conversation about simple personal information. Teacher makes the conversation two times. Then asks to the students what did they? What the conversation is about? Students give some answers and guess what the conversation is about. They have brainstorming. (10 min)

Step 2: Teacher puts pictures on the board and asks students what is this students give answers correct or incorrect. Teacher writes the name of lessons under the pictures. And repeat again with students. (10min)

Step 3: Teacher gives students identity cards and make students pair. Students fill in the blanks on the card. When they finished, they make a role play with their pairs.(20min)

Equipment Needed: Flashcards, Worksheets, Board, Board marker, Puppet

Aim:

·         Learning body parts ·         Learning illnesses ·         Making simple suggestions ·         Talking about illnesses

Objective:

·         Students will be able to identify body parts at least five names of body parts by using pictures.(nose, foot, arm, mouth, eye)

·         Students will be able to identify illnesses at least five names of body parts by using pictures.(headache, stomachache, flu, backache, cough )

·         Students will be able to answer the question about body parts

·         Students will be able to use simple phrases and sentences to express what illness they have, and what they do before the illnesses.

PROCEDURE

Step 1: Teacher comes to class. Brings a picture to the class and ask students “ what dou you see on this Picture” . students give some answers like; a boy, arm... If the anwers are wrong, teacher make the answers correct.(10 min.)  

Step 2: She puts some pictures on the board and make with students brainstorming. She writes the name of body parts and repeat it with students three times.(15 min.)

Step 3: Teacher bring to the class a puppet. It looks like a doctor. Teacher shows it to students and says “Doctor Phil is our guest today. He wants to speak with you” then Doctor Phil read a passage about suggestion. These suggestions are protection from illnesses. The passage is also on the board. Students read it also. Doctor Phil read it again. (15)

Step 4: Teacher turns to the class and asks students a question: “what is your suggestions?” “think about it “ then teacher gives a break.

Objectives

1.    At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to recall their background information about “ Sports” subject.

2.    At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to list extreme sports they know(skiing,snowboarding,parachuting,scuba-diving,climbing… etc.)

3.    At the end of the lesson Ss will be able to categorize sports(indoors,outdoors,individual and team sports)

4.    At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to practice pronunciation of some words they have learnt about Sports.

Pre-activity (5 minutes)

-      T greets the Ss.

-      T  uses brainstorming about the topic related to sports.

While-activity (10 minutes)

-      T  shows “sports” on the board.

-      T asks the Ss what they know about this topic

-      Ss listen track three times about Neymar sports life.

-      Then T  asks the Ss about Neymar sports life.

Post activity (5 minutes )

-                          -T repeats words on the board students say again.

-                       -When students say words T check their pronounciation.

-                         -Ss correct their mistakes.
