Lesson plan -family members

LESSON PLAN

OBJECTIVES/GOALS:
1. At the end of the lesson, Students will be able to recognise their family members ( mother,father,grandmother grandfather,sister,brother,parents,aunt,uncle.
2. Students will be able to write their family member’s names correctly.



INTRODUCTION: (How will you introduce the teaching skill/concept?) 
  At the beggining of the lesson,Teacher mentioned about family members.Teacher started with show the slide.The slide included the family members pictures.


 






VOCABULARY: (What vocabulary must the students understand? How will the vocabulary words be taught so that all students can understand? Which stages will you use?)

 
mother,father,grandmother grandfather,sister,brother,parents,aunt,uncle.




PROCEDURE
 PRE-ACTIVITY
    At the beggining of the lesson,Teacher mentioned about family members.Teacher started with show the slide.The slide included the family members pictures.Teacher showed the family members pictures and then students guessed who is in the picture.And teacher and students repeated the word together
WHILE-ACTIVITY
  Teaher gave an worksheet to understant what they understant from the slide.There were some words and pictures we learned.But the words had written in point form.So,Teacher said ‘Unite the duts’.Students united the duts.Then,Teacher said ‘match the words and pictures’ Students tried to match pictures with words.İn the end of the worksheet exercise,We matched the pictures together.Teacher checked the mistakes and then Teacher remind the word’s means from the slide
POST-ACTIVITY
    Teaher gave an puzzle to enjoy.Students cooporated with each other.So,they felt relax.Teacher helped them to find the words.Some students didn’t find the words.Teacher showed the words and Teacher asked the words means.
