                                                             Lesson Plan 2


Context: Games and Hobbies
Grade: 5
Proficiency level: Beginner
Duration: 40
Materials : pictures of games, ball, projector, puzzle, marble, cartoons, pencils
Objectives: Students will be able to ;

  •  express their feelings about games and hobbies by using "likes and dislikes"
  • identify the names of the games in the world
                                                              STAGES OF THE LESSON 

Warm up 
I use visual materials to introduce the names of the hobies and games. I create a context by showing pictures of the games and hobies. I also ask some questions about the pictures. Questions are like that ;" What do you do in your leisure time ? Which hobies or  games  do you like ?  etc. "

While up 

I  talk  about my own hobies and games which  I like  and  show my pictures  while climbing. I show the learners marbles, puzzles that I bring them to the class. I use them to make meaning more clear for students. I wrote the sentences  on the board  by using games and hobbies. 



Follow up 
Students prepare a poster about children games in the world so that they can be aware of the different games in the world.
