LESSON PLAN

Age Level of Class: 12-13
Size of Class: 24
Lesson Title: Biography
Duration: 40 minutes
Equipment Needed:. Board, boardmarker, twister cartoon

Aim:
·         To teach some vocabularies about biography
·         To teach these vocabularies’ pronunciation.
Objective:
      By the end of the lesson, students will be able to improve their pronunciation via twister game.
      By the end of the lesson, students will be able to reinforce their background as repeat vocabularies in unit 2.
PROCEDURE
Step 1:  Teacher comes to class and greets the students. she starts to ask previous lessons’ vocabulary. She attracts students’ attention in this way. She introduces the lesson and she tells the class it is about biographies. She shows the flashcard again thus she provides to remember the vocabularies and some structures, she provides to distinguish in between them. As teacher observes their pronunciation, they repeat again and again.
Step 2: Teacher gives instruction and time them for do exercises on textbook. After time finishes, they check together and teacher always says them vocabularies’ pronunciation.
Step 3: Teacher says game time and explains how to play twister. She divides the class into 5 groups. She gives finger twister cartoon to every group. When come to turn, student tries to pronounce correctly as put his/her finger above vocabulary. Teacher listens their pronunciation one by one. She tries to correct mistakes. It is a group work activity and it includes difficult words to pronounce in unit 2. After students finish, teacher checks them on the board. Students try to speak as pay attention words’ pronunciation.
