Warm-Up
VOCABULARY & TEACHING GRAMMAR

T uses puppets while creating a context. Then T shows the flashcards of illnesses. T says the names of illnesses and writes the names of illnesses. T says names of illnesses one by one and students repeat them one by one after the T. Then T closes the name of illnesses with her/his hand and asks to her/his students. T asks the question to the students.

(T gives question as a structure.        What should I do?)

T makes advice sentences. T writes the sentences on the board. Then T asks to students, firstly T gives an example, after she asks.

Aim is to teach and recall the names of illnesses, asking question as a structure (*What should I do?) and giving advice sentences. (*with should/shouldn’t). T asks questions because she controls the students get this structure and illnesses or not.

Worksheet Activity
The teacher shows the worksheet to the class. The teacher gives instructions to students clearly and briefly. T makes sure that students understand the activity. T gives the worksheets to students. While worksheet working, T controls the students.

(T: My lovely students, you have worksheets. It is about should/shouldn’t. It has three activities. First part is matching activity. It has some illnesses pictures and names of them. You match them. Am I clear? Ss: Yes. T goes on. T: And second activity has incorrect order words. …..)
